Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum
The Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum was an amazing site to go and photograph. This museum has so much, including old vehicles, airplanes, other transportation systems, and even a costume section in the building. It was a great place to photograph since every little part of the museum tells a story which can be seen in the pictures. The collection of transportation systems was given to the Western Reserve Historical Society in 1963. The details of the displays were amazing to photograph because it showed all of the textures on these great pieces of machinery. Also, the differences between the automobiles, which were donated by TRW Inc., and airplanes show the change over time in transportation, and how much our nation has advanced. This museum really shows a huge part of American history, leading to the common aspects of society that we use today which made this an amazing place to photograph. The pictures that I took were almost all close-ups, and I tried to make each picture creative by looking at the subjects from different perspectives. Also, I tried to make each image different and to capture the mechanical theme in interesting ways.
